KTWU Presents Nick Stellino

KTWU invites you to an amazing evening of Italian food, wine and lots of stories from America’s Storyteller in the Kitchen, Chef Nick Stellino!

Nick was born and raised in Palermo, a city rich in culture, music and culinary tradition. Life there was good and he was surrounded by family. But from early childhood, Nick dreamed of moving to America. In 1975, at the age of 17, he achieved that goal. The move was a dream come true wrapped in a series of challenges, but Nick had always loved America, and a good challenge.

Today, 22 years after his arrival on the national television scene with his first cooking show, Nick continues to approach his work as an old-fashioned artisan—one who is in love with his craft and who is passionate about helping people rediscover the simple joys of good food.

Chef Stellino will share the stories behind each course and the Henderson’s from Crooked Post Winery will tell us about each wine paired with that course. Win prizes, get pictures, autographs, eat drink and be merry!

Meet Chef Nick Stellino Thursday, August 15th from 6 to 8 at the Brownstone in Topeka.

Reservations are $75 – which includes the book of your choice from Chef Stellino.

Purchase online here; by calling 670-1111; or by coming to KTWU on the campus of Washburn University.
