Solicitor Nick Turner falls from his roof in an apparent suicide. However, Barnaby uncovers evidence to suggest the opposite as Turner's neighbor Jack Wilmot is missing and a number of dodgy deals are discovered. And when Turner's rival Otto Benham is found to have been catapulted with bottles the investigation takes a turning. But Barnaby and Scott are struggling to find a killer as they have been trapped in a wine cellar. Guest stars include Nancy Carroll (Father Brown) and Lucy Russell (Wolf Hall).
