LIVEA Beautiful Place -
On February 19, 1955, TWA Flight 260 departed Albuquerque with 16 people on board en route to Santa Fe, and shortly afterwards crashed into the Sandia Mountains. A rescue operation was immediately launched into the mountains to search for survivors, but sadly all 3 crew members and 13 passengers had perished. With this moment as a launching point, "A Beautiful Place" is a feature documentary film which explores the emotional journey and stages of navigating tragedies such as this. The premiere will be held in the same location that the passengers and crew of TWA 260 departed from, the old TWA Terminal at the Albuquerque Sunport, preserved much as it was in 1955. Come spend an engaging and reflective evening with some of the family of Flight 260?s passengers, as well as the crew of "A Beautiful Place".
