A journey through 11 states, united by a common road and common dreams. The trip begins in San Francisco's Chinatown, and ends at a Dominican restaurant in New York City. In between are cowboy poets, a horseback riding school, an old-fashioned chocolate shop, volunteer firefighters, snowplow drivers, a family-oriented ski resort, ghost hunting tourists and the biggest truck stop in the world.
